‘CAMOUFLAGE was one of a handful of female fronted hard rock bands in LA during this period. The band was led by vocalist ANGIE SAXON (aka Annette Diehl). She is historically notable in the realm of heavy metal as one time girlfriend to both the original NIKI SYXX of SAMMY HAGAR & SQUEEZE fame and the MOTLEY CRUE bassist "NIKKI SIXX" who has used the name for nearly 3 decades. ANGIE serves as the link by which the name was... Appropriated.’
