C.A. QUINTET Last Trip At Lake Pepin 1971 LIVE PSYCH LP OOP
180gm limited edition. Newly discovered recordings never previously available from the creators of the ultimate psychedelic masterpiece "Trip thru hell"!!! In january 1971 legendary minneapolis psychedelic band the C A QUINTET, creators of one of the most celebrated and sought- after underground albums of the 60's "Trip thru hell" decided to call it a day and play a final swan-song at Lake Pepin High school.3 tracks from this gig were issued by the band in a hasty fahion in the early 80's in a response to a bootleg copy of "Trip thru hell" that had then recently surfaced. Whilst many then thought that this would be the last anyone would ever hear of the band again earlier this year two surprising events happened - 1.the original master tape of the gig was discovered. 2.it was found to include material far stronger than that on the old live album and also include previously unheard original songs. The band performs storming versions of 60's classics such as "Born to be wild" and "Badge" alongside originals "4.am in new york city" and the closing number "China clipper" - the final song ever performed by the C A QUINTET. This will be a limited edition one-off custom pressing featuring new liner notes specially written for this issue by founder band member and leader Ken Erwin. All material has been fully re-mastered.

Grades are "Cover/Record"
Sealed : unopened, still in shrink.
M : new, unplayed and is in perfect condition.
M- : the record might have been played but it has no defects other than pressing stains that do not affect sound quality.
EX : only slight signs of wear; very clean, only light surface marks which will not distract significantly from the sound. Cover also has only slight wear, and is still in nice collectible condition.
VG+ : played often with moderate surface wear and some moderate noise - still plays well. Cover may have medium overall wear or some ring wear.
VG : overall wear, but no skips of serious defects, more noisy sound during quiet passages. Cover is well worn, usually with considerable ring wear.
INFO SEALED: Lp's & CD's will be opened & checked if desired after payment is received. I can't offer that recourse if you want the Lp sent sealed.
