Here I have for sale the US import of the original soundtrack to ‘Arthur’ (1981) by Burt Bacharach and featuring various artists, including Nicolette Larson, Christopher Cross, Ambrosia and Stephen Bishop.

Burt Bacharach ?– Arthur: The Album (Original Soundtrack) (1981)

Condition (refer also to notes at bottom):
Vinyl – G-VG. Clean overall visually with just a few scuffs or marks on both sides. Played just pre-listing and mild surface noise in places but sound is generally bright. Side B instrumentals sound better than Side A vocals; less surface noise overall.
Outer Sleeve / Cover –G. Colours are unfaded. Some rubbing and soiling on front; disc showthrough outline is evident on each side. Delete tab cutout on spine edge. Corner damage and edge wear but aperture is ok. Small square of residue in top right where sticker once was. Some rubbing and disc outline on reverse.
Inner Sleeve – EX. Original Warner. Clear plastic with small WB logos in blue. Minor creasing/folding but intact.

Scored by legendary composer Burt Bacharach, ARTHUR launched the radio hit “Arthur’s Theme (Best That You Can Do),” sung by Christopher Cross. The music went on to win an Academy Award for Best Music (Original Song), a BAFTA, the Anthony Asquith Award for Film Music, and a Golden Globe for Best Original Song in a Motion Picture.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
