Description

A great record by one of the earliest country blues singers who has influenced many later artists. Recorded in Chicago in March 1940 with Washboard Sam and an unidentified guitarist.This is a Japanese issue released sometime in the 1970's though I can't find any date to verify that. I have included a photo of the insert with the track listing in case you can't see it on the cover. The vinyl is in very good condition as is the cover. I bought this secondhand in the mid nineties and it has been well looked after. To be honest I find it difficult to listen to some of the earlier blues singers and it hasn't been played much. One for the connoisseur I think!
