Description

A super example of the 1968 UK plum label Atlantic 588 091 stereo LP by the class act that was Buffalo Springfield.
The Ernest J. Day cover has a laminated front and plain rear. It's in great clean, fresh shape with sharp corners and mouth and devoid of rips, splits, tears or defacing. Overall I give it 9/10 for condition.
The shiny disc is of medium weight with no dishing and has machine etched numbers etc. with the appropriate A1 / B1 first pressing identification. Both labels are in fine form with tight spindle holes as the photos illustrate and hardly any sign of spindle 'tracking' to show any more than one or two plays. Indeed, held up to window daylight it looks minty. Yet the acid test is under the unforgiving desk light and as such I see some scuffs and light hairlines. This is as a result of living in it's sleeve for the past half century along with the odd removal for play and 'inspection'.  It really is a nice example and wouldn't embarrass anyone's collection. I'm tempted to give it 9 but let's say 8.5/10 for safety.
Included as pictured is the original poly-lined inner sleeve which is in solid shape but has the expected age browning.
