Buffalo 1st Press OZ LP Volcanic Rock '73 Vertigo Swirl + Insert Hard Rock
Original 1st Press OZ LP released in 1973 on the Vertigo Swirl label. Cat: 6357 101-1. Comes in a gatefold sleeve. Comes with foldout lyric insert which is in Excellent condition.
One of the great lost classic Australian LP’s from the 1970’s and one of the band’s greatest records and essentially the first stoner rock album ever issued in Australia.
This is the album that established the band’s reputation for dispensing uncompromising heavy psych rock. It was this LP that established the classic line-up of: vocalist Dave Tice (who later joined UK R&B band The Count Bishops), guitarist John Baxter, bass player Pete Wells (who later switched to slide guitar in another legendary Aussie band: Rose Tattoo), and drummer Jimmy Economou.

There are some light spindle marks on labels. Record has some light scuff marks and a few very light scratches that cause some light crackles, record is graded conservatively at VG+. Gatefold cover has very light ring wear, some light marks, a tiny surface tear on top right corner and minor scuffing on corners, all seams are 100% intact, there are a few small tears on back left edge of cover. Cover is graded at VG+ condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
