This listing is for a Gorgeous Yellow Label Promo copy of Buddy Holly and the Crickets "That'll Be The Day/I'm Lookin For Someone To Love 45. It is on the Brunswick Label and the Label # is 9-55009. Vinyl is M-, as are the labels. Vinyl has full gloss and it plays beautifully. Labels are clean with No writing, tears, stickers, etc....Please See Pictures.

This comes with the original Brunswick Company Sleeve, which is also in very good shape.

As would be expected, matrix numbers are Machine stamped in the dead wax.

Grading is based on the following criteria

Mint = New Store Stock - We Don't Use this Grade

Mint- = Near New With Only One or Two Small, Insignificant Defects

VG++ = Extremely Nice. Would be Mint-, Except for a Couple of Light Scratches or Scuffs, Which Do Not Affect Play

VG+ = Nice, but Obviously Used Record That May Have a Series of Light Scuffs or Scratches. It Probably Plays with a Few Slight Pops and/or Light Background Noise, but has No Serious Problems.

VG = Well Used Record That Still Sounds OK When Played, but May Have Moderate Surface Noise, Pops, etc.

VG- = a very well-worn record that plays without skipping, and will do until a better copy can be found.

Grades less than VG-  We will normally not attempt to sell anything in a lesser grade, unless it is an extremely Rare item, and I do not think I have any of those.

We do not use abbreviations for defects/condition, but will clearly detail any defects/Issues with the Cover and the Record. We will do our best to explain the defect, as well as photograph it.

SEALED LP's and 45's are NON RETURNABLE.
A word about "STILL SEALED" LP's and 45's.
Any STILL SEALED LP or 45 I have listed on eBAY, will have either been purchased by me, NEW, at a Retail Record Store, when vinyl was still readily available. or will be authenticated as the original "Factory Shrink" by the presence of a factory label or sticker, etc... that could only have been applied when the record was New.

I have purchased a few "Sealed" Lp's on eBAY over the years, only to find that most of those were sealed, but not by the factory. The records inside were OK, to very nice, but they do not come out of the pressing plants with smudges, needle marks, scuffs, etc... So Please beware when purchasing "Sealed Vinyl". I will guarantee that any Sealed Vinyl I list for sale on ebay will not be a re-sealed record. I will open any that I do not personally know are factory sealed, or cannot authenticate by the presence of a factory label or sticker, before listing
