Metal Acetate test pressing.
Material is metal based disc with sprayed lacquer.
Disc is clean. Some pressure marks on one side as seen in photo. Please see photos to judge condition.
THE STORY...
Our store owner acquired this acetate in a collection years ago. It has been in his personal collection since. Purchased with a lot of Buddy Holly 45 rpm promo discs and EPs.
We have NO REAL IDEA as to the origin of this acetate. The labels were written with what appears to be a type writer, and there is wax pencil marks on the labels with catalog numbers.
We cannot find another example online or on Discogs. We’re not sure if this is a studio mix, alternate mix or what source this came from.
Possible this could be a reproduction but we have no way of knowing. Please bid accordingly.
