Description
This is an original vintage hard to find 1961 mono rock and roll lp record by Buddy Holly titled "That'll Be The Day". This scarce lp is on the Decca Records label #8707. Condition of the record is mint minus and looks as though it has never been played. The cover is very good plus with shrink wrap still attached. This looks as though the shrink wrap was resealed, but this was purchased by me in 1969 and this was the original shrink wrap from then. The reason we feel that it was resealed is that there is a bb size cut out hole in the upper right corner area, 2 small surface tears along the bottom edge of the front cover, a light scratch and small tear on the back cover. All of this is under the shrink wrap. There is a 2/$1.00 red sticker on the front cover in the upper right corner area, and a "This record can be played on all Stereo players" sticker in the bottom right corner area of the front cover. This is the best condition of this lp that we have ever had for sale and we've had a shop since 1980. There are no splits or writing to the cover.
