Description
You are bidding on a Very Rare and Hard to Find Original Buddy Holly "That'll Be The Day" on DECCA black label (DL 8707). This item is definitely an authentic version because the vinyl is of a thick and rigid material which is typical of the 1950s LPs. The cover is in excellent condition. You can see a slight ring of the record lining, but other than thta it is in great shape. Good Luck Bidding!!

This is a wonderful Buddy Holly LP and has been kept in plastic wrap so the cover is in excellent condition as you can see. The corners are in great shape on the top and bottom left. There is a slight 2" opening on the bottom edge of the cover and the bottom right corner is a little rough from shelf wear. The cover says Hi Fi Decca Records in top right. The back is as good as the front (no scratches or smudges - just like new. The record itself is Decca 33 1/2 speed DL 8707 Long Play Microgroove Unbreakable MG 6149. I don't know what all that means. The record looks to be in great shape with no visible scratches or marks. I have not played it because I don't have a good enough record player to experiment and don't want to damage it. With a cleaning it appears that it would be in mint condition. This is a must-have album for any rock n' roll record collector or Buddy Holly fan. Don't miss this opportunity. Good luck bidding.
