Artist: Buddy Holly And The Crickets  Title: The Chirping Crickets Format: LP Year: 1957    Label/Cat#: Brunswick/BL 54038 Special Features: U.S. first press from 1957 ~ Textured Cover~ Matrix Run Out Side A: MG6037T2 1P Side B: MG6036T3 1P ~ Gloversville Press ~ Thick non-flexible vinyl. Condition Media/Cover: VG-/VG-  (Please note the VG- here  rating equates with EBAY G+ as EBAY does not have a VG- rating that many have used for years as the next grade down from VG) Condition Description: Record has light marks throughout but plays great, much better than it looks. Record surface still has hint of shine. One area on last song "Tell Me How" on side 1 has a feelable scratch that amazingly does not detract from the listening experience, truly a great play copy of this disc. I have a picture of the scratch included in the pictures. Labels have spindle trails as signs of play. Cover actually pretty decent , but has some light wear to front face mostly near top seam, and a bit more wear evident on back cover. Spine has wear/chipping, but fairly legible. Writing, small in blue pen upper right underneath "Crickets" on front cover. (see picture) Tiny split top seam about 1/2" from opening in. Replacement sleeve.
