Description

For sale is Bruce Springsteen Greatest Hits, originally released in 1995 by Columbia Records as a double album with premium inner sleeves. In the dead wax between the label and the last track are the matrix numbers 1-A (Side 1) 2-A (Side 2) 1-A (Side 3) and 1-A (Side 4). All these dead wax etchings signify that a first stamper was used to make most of these records, known for their superior sound quality and sought after by collectors and music lovers alike. I bought this used, professionally cleaned them on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put them into two MFSL archival inner sleeves. This protects the integrity of the vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the record. The inner sleeves are Excellent with a few wrinkles and creases. The cover is graded as Excellent because of some faint ring wear. The spine is Near Mint. The vinyl is visually graded Near Mint Minus for Side 1 and Side 2 because of faint sleeve marks and graded as Near Mint for Side 3 and Side 4. The custom labels are all Near Mint. I don't think Disc two was played at all, based on how tight it fit on the spindle of the VPI cleaner and how it played. I'm play grading all sides as Near Mint Minus with an occasional tick between tracks on the first side. It's been played on state-of-the-art audiophile equipment while I owned it and still has a lot of life left to it. This is the best copy of this rare album that I've seen or heard. Most listings that are on Ebay have never been play graded. It's worth knowing what you will hear before you buy something. I have other Rock and Roll albums, as well as records of all different genres in my Ebay store. Please take a look. They're mostly play-graded and a lot are Near Mint. Thank you for viewing my listing.
I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative. I offer discounts for multiple sales. Photos are of the actual item for sale, not a stock photo. Please review all descriptions and photos because I do not accept returns. Thank you for looking!
