RARE RECORDS OF MUSIC HISTORY
From The Day To Make Your Day
BROTHERS OF SOUL
on BOO Records

Brothers Of Soul, on Boo Records #1006, an original 45 RPM 7" US release,  titled : I'D BE GRATEFUL -c/w- WAIT FOR ME, both sides written by Bridges, Knight, Eaton. Produced by Rick Williams.  This red Boo is getting harder to find as each day passes.

CONDITION / GRADING:
The I'd Be Grateful side is in Mint- Condition, bright, shiny, clean, no scratches, plays loud, clear, and present. The Wait For Me Side is in Near Mint Condition, bright shiny, clean, no scratches, has slight under the music sounds, possibly inherent in the pressing of this small independent pressing. Plays loud, clear, present.
The label is in Mint- Condition.

The Gradings System is: Mint Condition, Mint- Condition, Near Mint Condition, Excellent Condition, Very Good Condition, Good Condition. Fair Condition.

It is rare when I state a record being Mint although there are instances where they will be noted as 'almost' or 'between Mint- and Mint'.
Also, I usually don't list Fair Condition records except in a very unusual circumstance, essentially for its' collectible interest.

A note of interest about record pressings in general. Many of the records offered are from 30 to 50 years old. They are are not digital downloads.
Sometimes they come with their own inherent pressing oddities, slight sounds, and to the modern ear, possible "slight flaws" - which are not really flaws, but part of the pressing process of older, real vinyl / wax / plastic records. In some instances, just plain age can cause some noises in a record.
Some pressings of small labels from the 1950's and 1960's and some instances 70's pressings were made with not the greatest of ingredients,  and with these inferior ingredients causing some under the music groove sound - this generally happened with small label pressings, yet the music is clear, loud, and present. Also, at times, these smaller label pressings were pressed at cheapie pressing plants or at a big plant,  but on the sly late at night without the quality control of the normal commissioned pressing,  There may also be slight tape hissing audible which is part of the recording/pressing.
I note these things in the description if they are there.
