Description
Mint copy of this early Brinsley Schwarz album,"Despite it all". The lineup for this album includes the legendary Mr.Nick Lowe,Bob Andrews, who went on to play keyboards with Graham Parker and the Rumour and produce successful singles by the likes of Tenpole Tudor,Billy Rankin who subsequently played drums for Big Jim Sullivan's Tiger, and if you don't know who Big Jim Sullivan is,shame on you,(Ask the Bay City Rollers!) and,of course,Brinsley himself who after a stint also with G.P. and the Rumour worked, for a time at Chandlers' guitars in Kew,London. The first track,"Country Girl" was,in fact, once Tony Blackburn's record of the week on his Radio One show, way back then in 1970.Yes,despite the cheesey grin out Tone does have taste! On the Liberty label LBG 83427 this is a superb example of a brilliant album,The gatefold sleeve is also in tip top condition but has a small, new penny size white sticker in the top right hand corner which I'm reluctant to remove because they often take off some of the laminate with them.
