graded VG++/EX- for a strict Record Collector magazine grading system
label: The label it's in very nice conditions and I can see any wear also around the spindle hole hence EX.
cover: the cover it's in really brilliant shape on the front side without any defect and it have just a minimal wear on back, basically a start of ring and a minimal edge wear as I think it's clearly visible from the photos. For this reason I put a conservative VG++ for a strict grade.
vinyl:The vinyl it's great conditions too without marks and I have played it in full and the sound it's perfect without crackles in any spot but I prefere give an EX- for some dust on it that I'll remove with a good washing before to send it.
review: as stated in a "rate your music" review: "Originally from Venezuela, this outfit started out playing as Los Impalas. By 1965 they'd relocated to Spain, picking up an Anglo lead singer in Henry Stephen. By the late-'60s they'd ditched Stephen and moved to Chicago, Illinois. Signed by the small Parallax label (which included Sacred Mushroom on its short recording roster), 1969's "Impala Syndrome" teamed the band (Bernardo Ball, Francisco Belisario, Rodolfo Marquez, Edgardo Quintero and Nerio Quinero) with producer Martin Brummer (Brummer also co-wrote the majority of the ten selections). Musically diverse, the band managed to successfully dip their collective toes into a number of genres. "Love Grows a Flower" stood as a pretty Association-styled flower power ballad. "New Love Time" demonstrated they could handle blue-eyed soul (with a nice Latin touch). The closing number "Run (Don't Look Behind)" sported a then-trendy Eastern-flavored aura. More impressive to our ears, were fuzz guitar propelled rockers "Too Much Time" and "Let Them Try". Seriously, there isn't a bad track here.... Don't miss! SORRY for the starting price but this is really the minimum I can accept for a so rare item and this is a correct auction very different the many "pushed up" auctions I see all around! Please open your eyes!
