Bright Lights - Big City by The Rolling Stones VG+/VG+

THE ROLLING STONES - BRIGHT LIGHTS - BIG CITY A holy grail title for die-hard Rolling Stones archivists, Bright Lights - Big City (Fan-Productiones, Catalog #RSBLBC 3042173) collects the essential early studio outtakes and raw sessions that launched the Greatest Rock 'n' Roll Band in the World. Side A highlights the immortal 5-track IBC Studios demo session from March 11, 1963—featuring fiery, youthful R&B takes on "Road Runner," "Diddley Daddy," and the title track "Bright Lights, Big City"—alongside classic 1964 Chess Studios outtakes like "Stewed & Keefed". Flip to Side B for rare 1965 RCA cuts and loose, swaggering 1972 Exile on Main St. rehearsals from Montreux. An indispensable vinyl piece capturing the raw blues power of the early Stones era. While the album was originally released in 1973, this edition's release date is unknown. Released by Fan-Productiones, catalog # RSBLBC 3042173. Pressed on black vinyl. Tracklist: A: Diddley Daddy, Road Runner, Bright Lights - Big City, I Want To Be Loved, Baby What's Wrong (typo on back cover), Stewed & Keefed (Brian's Blues), High Heel Sneakers B: Tell Me Baby Down, Down In The Bottom, Looking Tired/Tumblin Dice I, Tumblin Dice II, Bluesberry Jam, Shake Your Hips Sleeve is rated VG+. Laminate covers front, color/finish are good both sides, minor aging discoloration (mostly around laminate edges). Some visible ringwear on front (mostly from an angle) and back but not bad. Good spine and seams. Corners retain shape but have some softening. Vinyl rated VG+. Plays through excellent...no surface noise or issues or deficiencies identified. B3 is a little rough but it seems to be the recording, not the vinyl, these are demo tape songs after all. The vinyl has some surface marks/scuffs and light scratches/hairlines, but they don't seem to impact play at all. Overall a very clean playing disc.
