Description

Bridge On The River Wye - Milligan, Sellers, Cook (1962)

Parlophone PCS 3036 (STEREO)

Up for sale here is a comedy record from the early 1960s, featuring the comic legends Spike Milligan, Peter Sellers, Jonathan Miller and Peter Cook, in a surreal Goon-style play written by Spike Milligan and with music by Wally Stott. The record was produced by George Martin, and is the much rarer stereo version (for all you Beatles fans out there, this is a great example of what a gold stereo Parlophone label looks like, as the Beatles debut album would be released looking exactly like this very soon after). Happy bidding!

CONDITION:

Labels: Mint (no spindle marks)

Vinyl: NM (beautiful condition, barely played, only very minor crackling)

Sleeve: NM (lovely condition, virtually no wear)

Inner: Comes with original die-cut poly-lined printed Emitex inner, EX+

PS: This record also comes with a mint A5 printed EMI leaflet, advertising the company's in-house magazines; I forgot to include a photo, but can send you one on request.

PAYMENT & POSTAGE:

Paypal only, sorry. Bidders welcome from anywhere in the world, but I won't be able to quote you a postage price until after the auction has finished. However, I do promise to keep postage costs as low as possible. Ta.
