Brian Eno David Byrne My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts Vinyl 1982 reissue EGLP48 
The outer sleeve is in excellent to near mint condition with very little storage wear.
The vinyl is in VG condition with some noticeable groove wear and light scuffs/scratches on both sides but nothing that will cause the record to jump or skip. Surface noise should also not overpower the music. Please however review the photos above, thank you. The price has been reduced a little to take into account the general condition of the record but given how collectible this record is the price is still very competitive.
Very collectible vinyl record
The 1982 UK reissue of My Life in the Bush of Ghosts (Catalogue No. EGLP 48) is a significant version of the Brian Eno and David Byrne collaboration. This edition is famously defined by the removal of the track "Qu'ran" due to religious concerns, which was replaced with "Very Very Hungry" as the opening track of Side Two.

First reissue with 'Very, Very Hungry' replacing 'Qu'Ran'. No barcode. No 'David Byrne-Brian Eno' on top right of rear of sleeve. Some copies have 'clean' text on labels, others have 'halo' text. See photos for more detail.

Key Identification Features

  • Tracklist Change: Side Two starts with "Very Very Hungry" instead of "Qu'ran".
  • Sleeve Details: Features the original non-barcoded glossy picture sleeve, often with gold text and small Polydor/EG logos on the back.
  • Labels: Typically has pale yellow text on a black background (EG Records).
  • Matrices: Common runout stamps include EGLP 48 A//1 and EGLP 48 B//2 with "Town House" etched on some variations.

The album sale will also include a new outer plastic sleeve and new anti-static/anti scratch archival quality inner sleeve and will be shipped in a 12-inch cardboard mailer specifically designed for the transport of vinyl records. Two internal layers of bubble wrap will also be applied to give more security during transport.
