Description

An original 1st press in the UK from 1965 on BRUNSWICK plum stereo label. Matrix 1L/2L. Stampers 1K/1U - excellent provenance. The vinyl comes housed in an original stereo cover correct for the mid sixties - with pinched spine. Also included is the original Decca inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In marvellous condition particularly given the vintage. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. Remember, this is predominantly paired down very fussy low-key audio...only a truly well preserved copy will stand half a chance of really top rendition. And this copy will not disappoint. Plays clean throughout - very impressive. A couple of crackles in a couple of isolated spots per side.
Cover (Ex-) Given the vintage pretty impressive. The front is clean and flat and unaged - a crease top right. The rear seems to have avoided much of the ageing process. Very little edge wear and nice sharp firm openings. Spine is fully intact. Excellent rigidity too.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. Bag present. No splits.
