You are bidding on a New, Sealed Vinyl Re-Issue of a 1964 LP from a relatively obscure Motown Artist, Brenda Holloway. The title of the LP is “Every Little Bit Hurts,” originally issued in 1964 on Tamla-Motown, and this item is a Brand New Reissue from 1982 on Motown. (5242ML)
\We purchased this item decades ago, played it (and enjoyed it!), and it has been sitting in our home (vertically) for the last few decades.
The LP is still sealed, and we presume in Brand New condition. The LP cover looks great There is a small “Cutout” notch cut in the top right corner of the front cover. The LP is unopened, still in the original shrink Wrap, with a Hype Sticker. (See Photos). Please remember that this album was well taken care of, but it was played as part of our record collection decades ago.

“Every Little Bit Hurts” “The title track was one of Motown's grittiest singles ever, but it didn't put Brenda Holloway into the spotlight she deserved. Her sound and style were so gospel-tinged and powerful that she was out of place on a label that wanted more polished, sophisticated material. This album had some marvelous classics and stands as Holloway's finest. While Motown had many other superb soul artists, Holloway may have been one who'd have done better at Stax or any of the Southern outlets who specialized in rawer, "deep" country and gospel-tinged productions”.
