Several of the best-known names associated with the style -- Goldie, LTJ Bukem, Alex Reece -- are sadly absent (Goldie does remix one track), but the all-unreleased tracks are very strong nevertheless. Innovators such as 4 Hero, A Guy Called Gerald, Roni Size, Ed Rush, and DJ Trace & Nico make appearances, sharing the stage with newer names such as Plug, Boymerang, and Spring Heel Jack; New York's illbient scene is represented by Soul Slinger's "The Singer." Among the best tracks on the double-disc set (which comes with a 100-page book) include DJ Trace & Nico's "Area 51," Boymerang's "Blue Note," and A Guy Called Gerald's tribute record, "Fabio." ~ John Bush General info which applies to all the records I'm selling: I'm parting with my vinyl collection because I don't get the time to enjoy and appreciate it anymore - I'm not a record dealer or vinyl obsessive - these records have been played and are not in mint A++ condition. However they are in playable condition - I will do my best to point out any major scratches or flaws in the record or sleeve - particularly where the selling price is high (cos other sellers are pricing similar!). Basically I don't want to get into an argument about a disk being B+ quality when a proper collector thinks its just a B ;-) Hopefully the high res pics will give you a good idea about the condition of the record. Check out my other listings for more rare and groovy records.
