As all Black Crowes fans know, the band is at its best when playing in front of a live audience, so when they announced the release of a live album, it was a happy day for all their fans. Still giddy from the release of their amazing, and highly acclaimed comeback album, “Warpaint” ? one of their best albums of any era ? fans were thrilled to hear that their one night only L.A. concert would be committed to plastic. The Crowes play through “Warpaint” in its entirety, jamming out on “Oh Josephine” in the best southern blues tradition, and giving all the songs that Crowes live-stage energy. They also dig into their vaults to unleash a few classic Crowes tracks from their early day, like the poignant “Bad Luck Blue Eyes Goodbye”, as well as some choice covers, like “Poor Elijah”.
