Description
Here is a Brain Police "World Of Wax" b/w "Smoking At Windsor Hill" on Head Records (X-2002/3). This record is by the second line-up of the band. In 1969 the first line-up separated and the bass player and drummer relocated to San Francisco. There they recruited another singer and guitarist and went into the studio and rerecorded these two songs. Aside from a demo album cut by the original band there was never another Brain Police record recorded or released in the '60s. Fans of the group will argue that the rerecorded versions of these two songs are decidedly less "garagey" than the originals but they do retain a certain psychedelic feel (these versions can be heard on a recent Brain Police C.D.). This is an extremely rare 45 and there has never been one sold on ebay! Only a few have ever surfaced. VG++ on one side, VG, with a scuff, on the other. Both sides play great! Truly a rare opportunity to acquire this mega-rare record!
