Slow Dancer is Boz Scaggs’ sixth studio album, originally released in 1974 and produced by Motown legend Johnny Bristol. Blending soul, funk, pop‑rock and lush orchestral arrangements, the album showcases Scaggs’ smooth vocal delivery and Bristol’s signature production style.

Standout tracks include You Make It So Hard (To Say No), the swamp‑funk groove Hercules and the atmospheric Sail On White Moon.
This 50th anniversary reissue from Music On Vinyl is pressed on 180‑gram audiophile yellow vinyl, includes an insert, and is limited to 750 individually numbered copies. Remastered from the original tapes, the release features artwork by Hipgnosis and mixes engineered by Al Schmitt.
