Very RARE boxed set was produced specifically for the personal libraries of the 2500 disc jockeys and radio station personnel who attended this live recording session. Souvenir of the 1959 DJ Convention in Miami, Florida. Recorded live in the Grand Ballroom of the Americana Hotel. Letter from Capitol records outlining the evening and the technical difficulties with embossed Capitol records logo. Great story! First time Peggy Lee and George Shearing had ever performed together. Letter from Peggy and George encouraging DJ's to listen to the album and play it, signed but unsure if original signatures. Glossy pictures of Peggy and George, signed and inscribed but not original autographs.

This set is from the estate of Madalyn McAdoo Hammer who worked in radio for many years and was working at Dallas radio station KLIF in 1959. The album is playable on Monophonic or Stereo phonographs. Go back in time to the 1950's and 1960's when radio was king in the music world.
