Description

You are bidding on a boxed set called "The History of the House Sound of Chicago". The box boasts that this is a limited edition set of 120 tracks on 12 LPs with full-length 12" dance tracks of various house-sound titles "from the very beginning". Titles and artists include Colonel Abrams "Trapped", First Choice "Let No Main Put Asunder", Tyre "I fear the Night", Fingers Inc. "Mystery of Love", John Rocca I want It to Be Real", and dozens more (click on photo of track listing and then click "larger size" to see the songs/artists).

Please note, the outer-box that houses this collection is extremely worn, taped together, and on its last leg. However, each of the 12 records has its original dust-jacket and the records themselves are in absolutely exceptional condition--I have visually inspected each one, both sides (see photos). They are really "like new". I purchased this on eBay myself some time ago and am only selling it because I just bought a stereo system does that does not have a turntable and I don't want to keep such a collection knowing that it will just sit in my closet unused. It really belongs with someone who can appreciate its value and who has the ability to actually listen to it!
