Beatles (2): 1) Whiskey Flats (good to fair, disk and cover)

                   2) Get Back to Toronto (VG disk, good cover)

Hendrix, Jimi Hendrix experience with E. Clapton, G. Baker, J. Mayall, J. Bruce.

                (VG-disk, good cover)

Tull,  My God! ( good-fair disk, good cover)

Band, (good-fair disks, good-fair cover with no paper label)

Fillmore East Final Concert,  (good disk, good-fair cover)

Janis Joplin: Get it while you can, Yellow Vinyl  (VG- disks, VG cover) This is a gem. Worth at least $65 by itself.

Duane and Greg Allman (fair disk warped maybe repairable, good cover)

Bootlegs are collectible for a number of reasons: They reflected an unsatisfied fervor for the most popular band's music by a dedicated if not obsessed fan base.

They offered a rare listen to the live concert music experiences including fun banter and unreleased or on-the-spot- improvisations.

They were black market items that reflected the rebellious nature of the bands, their music and their fans.


Most of the LP's in this Bootleg collections are playable. Disks rated good or fair often have significant surface noise and may skip if played on turntables with unbalanced skating/anti-skating forces.

Often the recorded sound quality of bootlegs are not as important as the raw content and spontaneity of the experience.
