Description
Up for bid is a rare mono LP, "Out Front," by Booker Little, featuring Max Roach, Eric Dolphy, Julian Priester, Art Davis, Ron Carter, and Don Friedman. See pictures for song list. This was released by Candid Records (CJM 8027). LP is VG+, with light scuffs on either side. There are also a couple of small light scratches on either side. This LP looks and sounds great - plays with some surface noise (some intermittent crackle, tics, and several light pops). Surface noise may be greatly reduced with a professional clean. Interior labels are very clean. Interior labels are yellow and orange, with a deep groove on either side. LP is very clean and retains a nice gloss. Jacket is VG+, with several small seam splits. There is a split on the bottom of the spine about two inches long. There is a split at the top of the spine about two inches long. There is a split on the bottom seam that starts at the front bottom right corner and travels toward the spine about 1/2 inch. There is a split on the top seam that starts at the mouth and travels toward the spine about 1/2 inch. There is wear on all seams and corners. There is some scuffing on the back of the jacket (see pictures). The front of the jacket is textured. The colors on the front are still bright, and the back retains a nice gloss. Throughout the month of December I will be listing more extremely rare, hard to find titles in very nice shape - from the estate of a serious collector.
