Description

Booker Little, Out Of Front LP, Candid Records 9027, VERY GOOD cover, VERY GOOD+ vinyl LP, Stereo pressing from 1962.

Up for auction is a 1962 Stereo pressing of Booker Little, titled “Out Front”. This vinyl LP is on the Candid Records label 9027 and is in True Stereo. Featuring: Booker Little, Max Roach and Eric Dolphy.

The song titles are:

WE SPEAK/STRENGTH AND SANITY/QUIET PLEASE/MOODS IN FREE TIME/MAN OF WORDS/HAZY HUES/A NEW DAY

The cover is VERY GOOD or better and the vinyl LP is VERY GOOD+ or better.

Visually vinyl looks well cared for and has some slight playing. A few light paper scuffs and a few small scratchesn which do not effect play or sound. Has orange, yellow and red boxed center label with black printing. Center label looks brand new. Center hole is sharp cornered and looks perfect. Great shine and high gloss on vinyl. Looks better than VERY GOOD+ or better. Could be graded NEAR MINT-.

Play graded vinyl. Plays loud, crisp, clear and mostly clean. A few ticks or pops are heard at the start of side one. An occasional tick or surface pop can be heard when the LP is played, yet nothing is really noticeable. Graded VERY GOOD+ or better. Could be graded NEAR MINT-.

Cover is visually graded as follows: textured front cover has a small to slight discolor near top center. A small mark is seen near top of right side opening. Otherwise from front cover is near perfect. Back cover is slightly yellowing and has some wear or discoloring at top cover near center. Spine has one inch break at bottom. Corners are slightly rounded and the top left corner has a small break or dent. Other than the above, cover is in amazing condition. VERY GOOD+. A few small white spots are noticed near bottom right corner.
