One of a handful of not just good, but superb offerings from Booker Ervin as the bandleader. I would put this project on a short list, probably with ‘A Space Book’, and ‘The Trance’, amongst others.


Booker Ervin plays the tenor for us, with Jaki Byard on the piano. And then Richard Davis plays bass w/ Alan Dawson on drums collectively holding down things rhythmically.
