NM: perfect.
EX: no surface noise, played two or three times.
VG+: very little surface noise.
VG: played more often, typically used record, no scratches, no pops.

EX: like new but some signs of using.
VG+: very little ring wear, or split on the seams, cover still very nice.
VG: ring wear, small tear on the edges.
