Bobby Paris - I Walked Away/ H.B. Barnum - Heartbreaker
(Capitol CL 16067 UK 7" 1967)
This is a UK original Demo 7" single pressing. Released in the UK in the late 1970's. Both the tracks were released in the USA in 1967. They are both classic Northern Soul/ Mod Dancer tracks. The record has red "Capitol" labels which have red Capitol labels with a 4 pronged centre. The record has 1st press A-1/ B-1 matrix stampers. It has its original plain white paper sleeve.
Vinyl: There are some light, mild or more moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There is a very tiny white mark, in the same place, at the very outer edge of both sides. The paper sleeve, over time, has left some light, mild or very mild dull surface marks on some areas. These, again, can only be seen under a strong light. Very Good condition. The labels are in excellent+ condition & show minimal spindle wear only. The company plain paper sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear, staining & creasing. There are no seam splits.
I have fully play tested this 7" single. It plays Very Good to Very Good+ overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in the background to a varying degree. This is only really noticeable in the quietest places. Overall, a very serviceable audio copy.
