This is just the coolest record label---harlem  45-2322 from 1954 (almost 60 years old)---Bobby Hall and The Kings Fire In My Heart b/w You Never Knew (by The Kings)---doo wop from Baltimore---VG+ copy

OK---I’ve gotten a bunch of emails asking me if this record is an original. I truly believe it is. I bought it at a thrift store sometime 1969-71 when I spent a LOT of time searching for 45s everywhere I went. The label looked really cool and I bought the disc because I thought it was the same label as the Doug Sahm and The Pharoahs 45 from 1958---turns out that was another Harlem Records. Anyway, this was not purchased from a collector shop or another source that may have access to repros or bootlegs; but instead in a thrift shop in the middle of piles of other old 45s. Another tip is the sticker on the label that says “16”---these were commonly part of the 45 carrying boxes that were sold in the late 50s---you put the sticker on the disc and then filed it in back of the divider with the same number on it. The dead wax numbers are written, not stamped---Fire In My Heart side is DAL-735-K-45 with a period UNDER the dash before the 45---hope that makes sense, I just can not type it in the fashion it is written---flip side is different DAL-738-K-45 no period on that side. There are no other markings in the dead wax. If anyone wants me to check on any other aspect of this physical disc, let me know and I will post the results.
