Description
Here is an amazing find; a SEALED Bobby Darin's Atco LP from 1959. THAT'S ALL (SD 33-104) sealed in the 1950's loose baggie style wrapping.
I bought this and a few other ATCOs from the same seller years ago. I opened some others and found the original yellow "harp" label on the deep groove pressing. I have no doubt this is the same pressing. AS A GUARANTEE, if a buyer videos the opening of this LP and it is not a first press, the purchase price will be refunded. I have to ask for the video as protection against some who would switch LPs. The loose baggie wrap used, the weight of the jacket, the use of a "STEREO DISC" gold stamp on a cover that was essentially a mono jacket, and the promo sticker for "Mack the Knife" all make the case for a first press LP inside.
The price guide lists this LP at $100 for NM copies.
Selections include:
- Mack The Knife
- Beyond The Sea
- Through A Long And Sleepless Night
- Softly As In A Morning Sunrise
- She Needs Me
- It Ain't Necessarily So
- I'll Remember April
- That's The Way Love Is
- Was There A Call For Me
- Some Of These Days
- Where Is The One
- That's All
All LPs wrapped in professional LP mailers and well protected - one of this value should go registered mail, or added insurance at the least. The last time I checked an LP can be sent regular air service to the US for about $10.
