Condition Description & Other Information ### Gentry rose to international fame in 1967 with her Southern Gothic narrative "Ode to Billie Joe". The track spent four weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and was third in the Billboard year-end chart of 1967, earning Gentry Grammy awards for Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance in 1968. ###  The Vinyl is described as Excellent. Several spindle marks to both labels. There are a reasonable number of extremely fine hairlines & sleeve marks to both sides of the record. The Vinyl has retained much all of its rich waxy lustre. The Cover is described as Excellent & was fully play-tested earlier today. It plays with a wonderful rich & thick sound, with no skips or stops & only average background noise.  The Cover is described as Excellent. There is some visible edge/spine & corner-wear. There are some fine cracks to spine & edges with associated wrinkles. There is some minor ring wear to front & verso. No seam splits of any kind.  Please see attached photos...
