Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band 1978 “Night Moves” Promo Picture Disc
Reportedly, only 800 copies were made of this picture disc, for promotional purposes only. A photo of the band is on one side, and a face shot of Bob Seger on the other side.
Seller is the Original Owner and acquired this item when working as a record store manager. This item has been securely boxed and stored in a smoke free environment for decades. The vinyl disc has never been played and is still in its original clear vinyl inner sleeve. It was visually inspected and appear to be in NM condition. The die-cut cover is in VG+ condition and still has the original shrink wrap, which has been opened. Minor wear on the open edge/corners.
Label: Capitol Records ?– Per seller's research, the catalog number is PST-11557. No catalog number was found on the cover or the disc. Buyer to verify, if there is any concern.

Note: Picture discs consist of a solid core that has a paper image placed over it. The core and photo are then covered with clear vinyl and the grooves are pressed on top of them using traditional record presses. The manufacturing process uses less vinyl in the grooves than standard records, and often yields less-than-optimal sound quality. Most picture discs are produced as limited edition products, generally targeted at collectors.
