A revised ‘Island Years’ edition of the classic Bob Marley Box Set. For the first time on vinyl outside Jamaica, and on vinyl anywhere in nearly 30 years. Featuring Marley’s many classics from “Concrete Jungle” through “Redemption Song,” plus rare 12” mixes, B-Sides, Jamaican singles, and alternates. This 6LP set on 180g colour vinyl with custom labels also includes a 20-page booklet with rare photos, several essays and track information. Released in February 2021, this special coloured vinyl edition has already sold out.
I had bought this to keep myself, but seconds after putting the needle on side one, I realised it was actually side two. When I checked the label, it said side one, and side two was labeled side one. So definitely one for the serious Bob Marley collector.
This album is brand new but unsealed. It has had less than 30 seconds play on side one only. All photos are of the actual item. The 3 gatefold sleeves are in protective pvc gatefold covers. The booklet is stored in open-ended shrink wrap. The entire boxset is stored in a heavy duty pvc boxset cover.
Comes shipped in a reinforced cardboard boxset carton. I recycle and reuse all shipping materials, including labels and mailers, wherever possible.
