Very rare copy of Bob Dylan, GWW: Saint Valentine's Day Massacre. Made by Trade Mark Of Quality, catalog number TMQ 63001. Stamped inside "LIMITED EDITION - #1294." I know they only made 2000 copies of these. Missing the second record (acoustic set) of the three record set (the other two records are of his electric set). I've never played these so I don't know how they sound, but the vinyl is practically pristine, which is very uncommon on these copies.
On the back cover: Recorded at the Fabulous Forum Inglewood, California February 14, 1974. GWW: 1974. Not since 1966 has Bob Dylan been on tour. Our music has gone through many changes during this time. Dylan's music has also changed through the years: Folk, Protest, Folk Rock, Country, Rock, Love Songs and even Jazz. His popularity has been tested, at times, by these different aspects of his talent. It has been difficult for the fans to keep up. Many things have kept his popularity alive: His Lyrics, His Music, His Records (Legitimate and Underground), His Writings, His insight into life and politics. But, maybe it's just Dylan himself that holds peoples' interest. "What is he going to do next?", someone says. Whatever it is, Bob, we're glad you're back!
It's 1974 and it's been over ten years since that first Columbia Dylan album was released. In July of 1969 the Great White Wonder album appeared. Since that time Trade Mark of Quality has been proud to have documented this great man's career from his early days, right up to the present. The concert recorded herein was the last show on this tour, and in our opinion, is a very special performance by one of the great talents of the twentieth century. The accomplice in the massacre was The Band.
It's All Over Now, Baby Blue was taken from the first of two shows performed February 14, 1974. The remainder of the material that comprises this album is the entire second show as performed by Maestro Dylan.
