- Label & Cat #: 1964 Columbia ?– CL 2105 Mono *White label promotional copy with "RADIO STATION COPY - NOT FOR RESALE" Printed on label: stamped matrix numbers: Side 1: XLP-75526-1F T / Side 2: XLP-75527-1F; Pressed By – Columbia Records Pressing Plant, Terre Haute and released Feb 10, 1964
- Vinyl Grade: Very Good Plus (VG+) play graded *record has nice glossy shine with vinyl displaying some faint light marks, that fortunately did not produce any serious noise disturbances; there was @6 revolutions with some lo-grade background surface noise; there is a tiny pressing blem on Side 2 between Tracks 4 & 5 that created 2 distinct pops, but did not affect either track; this is a high quality copy that I would have graded Excellent based on playback alone
- Cover Grade: Excellent (EX) *jacket in great shape with the lightest of wear; radio station timing strip on the front sleeve (slight bend crease raised on top lh corner); there is also a "3" on the rear sleeve at bottom right, indicating the sleeve was made by Modern Album Finishing Co., probably at Terre Haute, IN. Liner notes insert included and in near perfect shape
- Notes: Bob Dylan's first collection of all original material includes the title track, With God on Our Side, Only a Pawn in Their Game, Ballad of Hollis Brown and The Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll all remarkably skilled re-castings of contemporary tales of injustice. (AllMusic)
