Bob Dylan- The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan 1963 Columbia Two-Eye U.S. Mono Pressing:
Up for sale is a mono first- pressing of Bob Dylan's 1963 LP "The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan". This record sports the white "Columbia Two Eye" logo (as visible on both sides of the LP), and contains only the text "GUARANTEED HIGH FIDELITY" and "® "COLUMBIA" MARCAS REG PRINTED IN USA" on the bottom of the front and back labels; these traits certify the album as a true first- edition pressing, released in May of 1963.
Both the record and sleeve are in excellent condition. The sleeve is not torn, with the exception of a small, very shallow rip in the bottom right-hand corner of the front side; this is very shallow and slight, and is highly unlikely to spread if the album is cared for properly. The spine is fully intact, and all text is legible. All images are clean and clear. The only defects on the back of the cover occur on the upper left and upper and lower right sides, where a pen-written signature (upper left side) and some pen- written "brackets" (lower right side) are obscured with what appears to be "white-out" (or some precursor to it); a small brown stain is on the upper right corner, covering no text.
The record is in excellent condition, containing no skips or overpowering pops. The audio still remains crisp and clear, mostly completely unaffected by the extremely light surface scuffs that are on both sides (this is likely from years of storage and removal; the audio is so clear, that it is evident that the record was played gently throughout the years).
