Description
Here for auction is a rare Bob Dylan Self Titled Debut LP 1962 US
Columbia CS 8579 STEREO on the rare Columbia 6-eye label.
This is the rarer STEREO version, most copies of the 6-eye were Mono
Thick card USA style cover in EX+ condition, full colour with no split seams
or rubbing, just a hint of wear in a couple of places
The rear is white and unmarked with again, just a hint of wear
A really top grade cover, nearly 50 years old
No " Produced By John Hammond " credit on the rear. and a small
number 8 on the bottom right of the timing box
The vinyl is in EX+ condition with full gloss shine with only few light
hairlines that do not affect play at all. The 6 eye label
is unmarked and has one song above the centre hole.
The first press matrix numbers are XSM 55622-1A & XSM 55621-1B
I have played this all the way through both sides and the sound is
superb.
The record comes with its original grey striped Columbia inner
sleeve with no split seams!!
This is an absolutely superb 1st press STEREO example.
Hard to find a better copy now after nearly 50 years.
