Bob Dylan Rare US EP Alias VG+ ’73 Mogul Music Folk Rock Rare Alt Pat Garrett
Rare US EP released in 1973 on Mogul Music Records. Cat: 3812. This EP is a selection of music from the “Real” soundtrack of the film “Pat Garrett and Billy the kid”. It is not very well known that the Columbia soundtrack is entirely (even if slightly) different from the music used for the screen. This is quite remarkable and seems to indicate that Dylan wished to re-record most of the tracks for the record. The last “Billy” ( No. 4) is complete and features Dylan almost alone on guitar. All other tracks are partial or incomplete (like in the film mostly). Also “Knocking on Heaven’s Door” is from the film, and different from the album.Tracks: Billy #1/ Billy #2/ Billy #3/ Knockin’ on heaven’s door/ River theme/ Final theme/ Billy #4.
There is a light sticker stain on A-side of label, also A-side label is pressed slightly off centre (does not affect play at all). Record has some light scuff marks and a few very light scratches that cause a few light crackles and is in VG+ condition.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
Post methods within Australia: All records are posted via Australia Post. Within Australia all items come with a tracking number.
Post method for overseas: All parcels are sent via Australia Post and are sent on a standard airmail service. There are no tracking numbers on these items. If you require a tracking number the item will have to be sent as an insured item which incurs a further postage fee.
