Description



An original 1st press on the UK Pink Rim label from 1974. Matrix 2U/2U. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in a Robor printed cover with pinched spine. Also included is a generic white company inner from the time. Also included is the censorship back-sheet which were used at 1st issue as the original text on the rear fell foul of profanity laws. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex+) In beautiful condition and looks to have only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Hard to find fault..this copy absolutely nails the audio for this release. A rich tapestry of some of Dylan's greatest songs on a much underrated album. Intros and inbetweens are pretty much silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Interference is pretty much non-existent. We couldn't detect more than a few crackles in a couple of isolated spots. A fantastic rendition by any measure.
Cover (Ex+) Wow, I've not even seen shrink-wrap covered copies look this sweet! Beautiful and pristine white - no idea how it's managed to stay looking this good - but it is mighty impressive. The rear is just as good without any signs of surface wear or ageing. Edge wear is pretty much totally absence, the corners still pointed, and the openings sharp. The spine is absolutely perfect..a total stunner. Overall the cover retains perfect rigidity. You ain't ever going to improve on this copy...
Inner (Ex-) Lightest ageing. No marks or splits.
Back-Sheet (Ex-) Light ageing at extremities.
