Bob Dylan NEW MORNING Vinyl LP S69001 A2/B1 1970 Original Pressing

This album was released just four months after Self Portrait and there was speculation that it was recorded hastily and rushed out as an immediate response to the scathing criticism that surrounded SP.  In fact, much of New Morning was already complete when Self Portrait was officially released.

"I didn't say, 'Oh my God, they don't like this, let me do another one,'" Dylan said in 1975. "It wasn't like that. It just happened coincidentally that one came out and then the other one did as soon as it did. SP laid around for I think a year. We were working on New Morning when the SP album got put together."

I have graded the vinyl Very Good/Very Good Plus inline with Vinyl Factory guidelines, there are clearly signs of the record being brought in and out of its sleeve over time and many surface marks, but it plays well in spite of occasional crackle.
Very Good Plus  – A few faults are acceptable, but nothing that really compromises the record visually or audibly. A little rub, light inaudible marks, a little background crackle.
I have graded the sleeve Very Good Plus

• Matrix / Runout (Side A stamped): S-69001-A2
• Matrix / Runout (Side B stamped): S-69001-B1

Original pressings from 1970 all have matrix numbers ending in A1 or A2 and B1 or B2, variations i.e A1/B2 or A2/B1 were also pressed in 1970. Original printed inner sleeve advertised other CBS lps.
