Description
Here’s one from when a “limited edition” really meant something. I believe this was the second pressing of the Dylan classic - Blood On The Tracks. I say this because when the album was very first released I purchased a copy on day 1 and of that I am positive. It wasn’t until some weeks later that I noticed this different back cover design. In turn a few months later there was a third back design with the same lettering of the first issue but in a slightly different color? I also noticed that the mural design was gone from the record shelves never to be printed again making this a legitimate Limited Edition not a first pressing as some have stated. Being a life long record collector I did end up with three copies that have since moved on. That’s how I remember it. Enough with the (possibly correct?) history lesson.
I’m offering this “Mural” Back Cover pressing at what I hope is a fair price for someone. The cover isn’t mint but still in decent condition. No seam splits with plenty of original gloss and appeal. There is some light shelf wear and rubs but still looks great. Please observe and expand the photos I’ve provided. The vinyl plays fine, actually giving it a listen as I write this description. This is one of my favorite Dylan albums from that period in his astounding career.
