Description

Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted.

Grading is based on visual inspection.

Album ships in a 2 MIL poly cover sleeve and a soft poly inner sleeve.

I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.

New and vintage vinyl is hard to grade strictly using eBay’s system because the record and the cover are two different components. Therefore, I grade a record new and mint if it is opened but has never been played.  I use the eBay grading category to describe the cover condition.

  • This is a First Pressing of the Columbia Records original 1967 release.
  • It is a Santa Maria pressing.
  • Has the Red label, white "Stereo '360 Sound'" with white arrows at bottom of label.
  • Two-Eye logo on label at 3 and 9 o'clock.
  • The album was released on December 27, 1967 so all writer credits were dated 1968.
  • Playing surfaces are clean. Appears to have never been played.
  • The back left cover has corner crease (see photo).
  • Includes the original Columbia Records catalog inner sleeve. I have added a soft poly inner sleeve.
  • This is a one-owner that the seller got new in his record store in 1968. It has been in storage for 54 years.
