Description
For many years I did promotion for music labels, large and small, and have accumulated product not only from labels I represented but labels I competed with as well. Understand this was not a collection as such; it was the residue of what I did for a living. These discs were not stored in air tight lockers of kept in a temperature controlled clean room, they were in boxes in my office and although they may have never been removed from the dust jacket please expect dust and even some light scratching. Some have survived the passage of time in amazing condition such as this example. From 1971 we have for a no reserve auction what I believe to be is a never played, promotional copy of Bob Dylan’s, two disc, Columbia Records release “Greatest Hits Volume 2”, catalogue # KG 31120. Both discs have a gloss surface, perfect labels and retain their original plain white inner paper sleeve. Gatefold jacket is also in amazing condition for its age. There is some light edge and ring wear but an excellent original survivor with no cut through. I find it unique that the programming sticker, with times and publishers, was in one of the pockets and never applied to the outer jacket. This is a truly a collector quality package.
