FIRST PRESS 1970 BOOTLEG LATER PRESSINGS HAD A 5X7 PHOTO PASTED OVER THE "GWW - A THOUSAND MILES BEHIND" STAMP ON THE COVER OF JACKET! ONE TRACK FEATURES JOHNNY CASH (LIVE) Bob Dylan - A Thousand Miles Behind (Great White Wonder) LP 1970, Not On Label, Matrix: 111-A/111-B
Side one is the 1967 Basement Tapes except:
A1 Carnegie Hall October 26 1963
A2 'Times' outtake
A8 Gaslight Tape.
The interviews are from the Allan Stone interview from Detroit in October of 1965
Side two is from the Gaslight Tapes (1962) except for:
B1 Broadside show WBAI radio, NY - March '62
B5 1969 Johnny Cash TV documentary
Here is a very early and hard to find piece from 1970. The label is blank, and no information is known as to the manufacturer. It was produced in the USA, most likely from the West coast. The first issue had a very small title stamp on the front of a blank white cover. No other information was included. Later editions had a 5x7 white or yellow insert pasted over the stamp. The album is a hodgepodge of material.
Record: NEAR MINT- TOP COPY! Full sheen and luster of the vinyl. Labels are super clean. You won't find much better!
Jacket: VG+ ORIGINAL JACKET. "GWW A THOUSAND MILES" stamped on cover. Solid and sturdy jacket. Would have graded the jacket EXCELLENT if not for a bump to bottom left corner resulting in a tiny split starting but it is not severe (see pics).
Item is almost 45 years of age, general wear is to be expected.
