Blood on the Tracks: UK first pressing of Dylan’s 1975 double-platinum, all-time best-selling, masterpiece on the CBS.  With its iconic picture sleeve, with Pete Hamill's notes on the back, complete with matching maroon inner. The vinyl is in Excellent condition - a great play copy - with first press A-2/B-2 stamped matrices. The sleeve is fabulous near as new condition whilst the vinyl on this copy is a truly excellent copy of this essential LP. Both the sleeve and disc are in beautiful condition.
The disc has First Pressing matrix numbers in the run-out grooves and is in Excellent condition. Hard enough to find in good condition, this copy is in EXCELLENT CONDITION and the picture sleeve and inner are also in NEAR MINT CONDITION. And as these UK 1st pressings come up so infrequently in this condition this could be a once in a lifetime opportunity to add this extreme rarity to your collection at an extremely advantageous price.

This is the very rare real thing: a GENUINE first UK issue in EXCELLENT CONDITION. The sleeve and heavy card inner are also in NEAR MINT CONDITION, with no creases, scratches, tears, writing, stickers, dog-ears or other obvious damage. See pics. All items are the genuine originals bought together by me in 1975. The LP is the original first issue stereo LP, which was only played on top-end audiophile equipment and lovingly cared for.

Blood on the Tracks is the fifteenth studio album by American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan, released in January 1975 on Columbia Records. The album marked Dylan's return to Columbia after a two-album stint with Asylum Records. Most of the lyrics on the album revolve around heartache, anger, and loneliness.
The album, which followed on the resurgence of critical acclaim for Dylan's work after Planet Waves, was greeted enthusiastically by fans and critics. In the years following its release it has come to be regarded as one of his best albums; it is quite common for subsequent records to be labelled his "best since Blood on the Tracks." It is also commonly seen as a standard for confessional singer-songwriter albums; though Dylan has denied that the songs are autobiographical, his son Jakob Dylan has stated: "The songs are my parents talking." In 2003, the album was ranked number 16 on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
The album reached No.1 on the Billboard 200 charts and No.4 on the UK Albums Chart. The single "Tangled Up in Blue" peaked at No.31 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. The album remains one of Dylan's all-time best-selling studio releases, with a double-platinum US certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
