S-66012 A3 D 15 / B2 D 5G/, C4 B 5 / D2 A 25
Identifying features: Sleeve no 'Stereo' logo on front and no logos on back. 66012 on spine and above CBS logo on front. Inside gatefold 9 pics. Claudia Cardinale pictured on the inside cover - she was later removed. Laminated outer sleeve, not flipback. B2: "Stuck In Mobile With Thee" on sleeve. "Memphis Blues Again" on label. Publishing: Big Ben Music Ltd. except B4: B. Feldman & Co. Ltd.
Dylan’s classic double album released in 1966 which remains in the top 100 best albums of all time and not difficult to see why. Using Nashville session musicians that gives it a slick studio polish that makes it sound totally unlike any of his other albums, with sparkling piano frills and a, what Rolling Stone Mag called a soulful shitkicker groove. It was also the first rock double album!
Sleeve: Laminated gatefold sleeve which still has a gloss, no lamination lift, light edge creases only, generally in nice all-round condition. No splits, rips or writing, fully readable and proud (un-crushed) spine, light (minimal) age related signs of handling light corner/ edge rub from shelfwear, internal flipbacks remain clean and undamaged (see photos) graded EX- towards EX

Vinyl: 60’s weight vinyl, visually still retains its gloss (see photos) couple of lights scuffs, with a minimum feint lines primarily only visible under bright light graded Ex- more EX
Audio: Plays through with no major problems - no sticks, clicks, jumps, pip or pops, (played on a Project carbon - blue 2M Ortofon) graded EX
Please note: audio quality can differ from one pressing to another and unless you have two copies to compare it is sometimes difficult to know. Audio quality can also vary from one system to another and while I try to describe my audio experience it might not be the same as somebody else’s.
Have tried to be honest and transparent in my description, the photographs form part of the description. Questions are welcome, don't hesitate to ask. I have good feedback (and positive comments) as both a buyer and seller, so you can buy with confidence. I am a collector of 47+ years, the few records I sell are either the results of upgrades, duplicates or a bit of thinning every now and again. If anything is not as expected, please contact me straight away and I will do everything to resolve any problems without argument.
I strictly adhere to the Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide using one + or - for addition guidance:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
